Launching MLPA Fantasy '25 – Gold Coast SLAM: Get Ready to Build Your Dream Team!

The excitement is back! MLPA Fantasy ‘25 returns with fresh lineups, new player combos, and a chance for you to become the ultimate fantasy champion at the Gold Coast SLAM. Whether you’re a seasoned fantasy player or new to the game, here’s everything you need to know to build your winning team for the 2025 GC SLAM event.

How to Build Your MLPA Fantasy Team

Your fantasy team will consist of 4 players — including 2 male and 2 female players — to ensure balance and strategy. You can pick your squad from any players competing in the GC SLAM.

Player Tiers Explained

Players are categorised into tiers based on their draft pick round or substituted position, reflecting their performance level and potential:

  • Captains: The superstar players expected to make an immediate impact.
  • Round 1 Picks: Top performers with a strong track record.
  • Round 2 Picks: Consistent, reliable players with proven results.
  • Round 3 Picks: Emerging talents or players with lower profiles who could surprise and shine.

Captain Selection

Choosing your team’s captain is a key strategy move. Your captain earns 2x points based on their match performance, making them a potential game-changer. Don’t forget to pick wisely!

Scoring System

Points will be awarded based on real-time results from all MLPA Premier matches, including:

  • Games net
  • Dream Breakers wins
  • MVP of the Championship Match, who will receive 1.5x points

Important Deadlines

Make sure to submit your fantasy team before 3pm on the official start day of the GC SLAM. Once the team is locked, no changes can be made during the event — so choose carefully!

Prizes and Rewards

The overall winner with the highest total points at the end of the season will score huge bragging rights and a swag bag filled with goodies from our amazing sponsors. It’s not just about skill — it’s about fun, competition, and prizes!

How to Enter

  1. Register through the official MLPA Fantasy platform - here
  2. Choose your 3 players from the draft tiers.
  3. Pick your captain.
  4. Submit your team before the deadline.
