Major League Pickleball Australia – Geelong: The Last Battle Before the Finals!

The stage is set for Event #5 of Major League Pickleball Australia, and this one carries serious weight. As the final event before the championship finals, every rally, point, and game in Geelong will shape the ultimate league standings.

From Friday, October 24 to Sunday, October 26, the country’s top pickleball teams converge on DINX, Geelong, for a three-day showdown that promises drama, intensity, and a showcase of true team chemistry.

The Stakes Couldn’t Be Higher

With the season winding down, ladder positions are on the line. Every team knows this is their last chance to lock in, or climb, before the finals. The Geelong event will test not just individual skill, but team cohesion, adaptability, and mental toughness. Can the local Captains of Aaron Blitz and Chris Baum steer their teams to victory?

For the Premier Division, 12 elite teams are in the hunt for a $12,000 prize purse, while the Challenger Division’s 8 teams will battle for a $4,000 winner’s cheque.

New Format, New Energy

This marks the first stand-alone MLP Australia event. A fresh opportunity for teams to lean into their chemistry and build rhythm across an intense weekend.

Each team is guaranteed a minimum of five matches, ensuring plenty of high-level pickleball action for players and fans alike.

The competition will open with Group Play, where teams fight for seeding and survival. The top finishers will advance to a Champions Bracket, whilst the bottom four, fall to the Consolation Bracket, where every match could make or break a season.

• Group Play → Round-robin style matches on Friday and Saturday Morning
