Major League Pickleball Australia Masters 50+ Draft

Gold Coast, Australia: Major League Pickleball Australia (MLPA) announces the selections for its Master's 50+ Draft with local Gold Coast player Tony Field being selected by the Glory at Number 1.

With players from all over Australia and New Zealand entering the draft, the competition for the 12 selected spots was intense.

Sange Carter, League Commissioner of MLP Australia, stated: “The depth of talent missing out on selections shows how strong this demographic is. We are excited to launch this event to test the waters with what's to come of team pickleball in the region.”

MLPA Masters 50+ Commencement: The MLP Australia Masters 50+ Challenge will be held on November 8-10 in Melbourne, featuring the four teams going head to head for prize money and bragging rights.

Pickleball Association Australia Executive Officer, Brendan Lee, said: "This draft is a game-changer for pickleball in Australia. It is fantastic to see so many of our top master's players getting the opportunity to compete at elite team pickleball."
